Microsillon Privacy Policy

Studio 4on6 makes Microsillon, an app for iPhone and iPad. It does not collect, transmit, or store personal information about you. This page says exactly what the app touches on your device. The studio and its website have their own policy.
The short version
- No accounts and no sign-in.
- No analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, no tracking.
- Nothing you do is sent to us. We run no servers that receive your data, so there is nowhere for it to go.
Your music and your device
With your permission, Microsillon reads your Apple Music library and any local audio files you import. It needs that access to play the music you are working on; it does not copy, upload, or transmit any of it.
Your playback position, bookmarks, and settings are stored on your device and stay there. They are included in your device backups if you have those turned on, which is between you and Apple.
Playing music from an Apple Music subscription is a transaction between your device and Apple, governed by Apple's own privacy policy. We are not party to it and receive nothing from it.
Feedback emails
The About screen has a Send Feedback button. It opens an email in your own mail app, addressed to us, with the app version, iOS version and device model filled in below where you write, so a bug report arrives with what we need to reproduce it. You can delete those lines before sending. Nothing is sent unless you send it. If you do, we receive your message and your email address, keep them in our inbox to reply, and share them with no one.
Purchases
Any purchase is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details, and we receive no personal information about you from those transactions.
Children
Microsillon collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
Changes to this policy
If anything here ever stops being true — if an analytics or advertising component is ever added to the app — this page and the App Store privacy labels will be updated before that change ships, not after. The date at the top of this page will say when.
